This is why I boycott Nestle....
It's nothing personal. I just do not think that women should be taught that their formula is better than breast-milk for babies...

Placenta for your own taste?
There seems to be a lot of hype going on about the ancient art of Placentophagy. All the benefits of consuming your placenta are here under the Placenta encapsulation page. I will be showing a tutorial of how to do this.
I am borrowing photos via the web until I get my own, in order to do that you have to have a placenta. Now at this time I do not have one.
Step one:
Acquire Placenta, rinse and remove cord,
Step two: Steam

Step 3: Slice and put in dehydrator. Dehydrate until brittle around 8-10 hours depends on your situation.

Step 4: Grind Placenta in coffee grinder, magic bullet, or mortar and pestle.
Step 5: Add Herbs and Encapsulate.
I would recommend taking them 2 to 3 times a day. Try to start taking them before day 3 postpartum. Do not add herbs that are not safe for baby or while breastfeeding. You can always save some for menopausal years to. They will keep indefinitely in the freezer.
Note: like I said before I am using photos from the web, Once I perform a placenta encapsulation I will update this with my own photos. I do not claim to own these photos.
